It's Parks Rec Month, and there's a scavenger hunt

Every July, Milton joins cities across the country in celebrating Parks and Recreation Month: four weeks to spotlight the trails, events, and programs that make the parks system what it is. This year's twist is a Scavenger Hunt. Explore Milton's parks, snap photos matching each challenge, and win prizes. Grab the form at miltonga.gov/ScavengerHunt, do as many tasks as you can, and email your proof to parksandrec@miltonga.gov by July 31. Everyone who plays takes home at least a small prize.

There's a packed slate of ranger hikes, a moth-week night walk, camps, and more this month (the dated ones are in The Week Ahead below). To plan year-round, the city's Activities Guide is a good start, and we keep the running list on our own Milton events page.
