Nominations are open through Mon, July 27. Round 2 voting opens Wed, July 29.
Round 1 — Nominations
Vote in any subset of the 29 categories. Leave the rest blank. Tell us the place's name as you'd call it ("Truly Pizza", "the Crabapple coffee place near Heritage Walk", etc.) — we normalize names between rounds.
Every category is optional — pick as many or as few as you like. Your email comes at the end.
The rules of the game
- Round 1 (nominations): readers write in their pick for any category they care about. Top 3 nominees per category — based on most-mentioned — advance.
- Round 2 (voting): readers vote on the finalists. One vote per email per category. Optional categories — vote in 1 or all 29.
- Email verification: we send you a one-click link. Your ballot only counts after you click.
- Subscribing is optional. The signup box is checked by default so we can email you the results — uncheck it to vote without joining the newsletter.
- The Roundabout is not a judge. We surface what the community votes for. The honorable mention beside each winner is our one editorial nod — picked from the top 5 in each category, with a one-sentence callout.
