The Roundabout's guide to
Crabapple Fest
Milton's biggest day of the year: the street closes, 100-plus antique, craft and art vendors move in, and around 35,000 neighbors wander through with lemonade and a new lamp. Free, rain or shine, and your leashed dog is very welcome.
and opens to everybody else
01 Where to park for Crabapple Fest
Parking first, joy second. Crabapple Road closes between Mayfield Road and the Heritage Walk roundabout starting 10 AM the Friday before, back open around 10 PM Saturday night. Nobody parks on the street. Here is how everyone actually gets in:
Shuttles loop all day, roughly every 20 minutes. They are free, and small children consider them a ride.
02 What to expect at Crabapple Fest
Antiques, art, crafts, and the one-of-a-kind thing you did not know you were shopping for. Holiday shopping genuinely starts here.
The stage runs the whole festival, and the Green does what the Green does: blankets, kids, somebody's dad dancing a little.
A whole zone engineered to tire them out. You will ride home in beautiful silence.
Every good dog in a five-mile radius attends. Yours should not miss it. Food and drink for the humans, everywhere.
Rain or shine means rain or shine. October in Milton can be summer or fall depending on its mood, so dress for both.

Four free lots along Birmingham Highway, all with shuttles running roughly every 20 minutes: Milton Community Church, Crabapple Crossing Elementary, Northwestern Middle, and Milton High School.
