First bell is Monday

Fulton County Schools starts back Monday, August 3. Bell times: elementary 7:40 to 2:20, middle 8:55 to 4:05, high school 8:20 to 3:30.

We rebuilt our Milton schools guide this week and it is now the most complete one anywhere: the full board-approved calendar through May, Georgia Milestones scores for all eleven schools that serve Milton, private-school tuition side by side, a vetted tutoring list with published prices, and a map of the three high-school zones drawn from the official attendance boundaries.

Two things worth knowing before Monday. Birmingham Falls posted 87 percent math proficiency last year, the highest of any Milton school. And fall break runs September 21 through 25, which is the whole week, not the usual three days.
