STEM Lego
In every one of our programs, our goal is to create an environment where students can explore STEM concepts through play, letting their creativity loose and putting their problem-solving skills to the test through access to tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. The Core Engineering curriculum consists of Adventures in STEM and STEM Explorations. These programs are broad in theme and draw upon the greatest variety of possible projects. New students will be introduced to a world of possibilities, while returning students will be given new building challenges. Themed programs such as Pokémon Engineering, Animal Adventures, and Wizarding World of Engineering continue to incorporate many engineering concepts while giving kids a chance to explore imaginative worlds that they already know and love. Older students can try our more challenge-based programs like Bash’em Bots or Engineering Design Challenge, where they will engage in the scientific method to test and hone their designs. Lastly, specialty curriculums such as our Mine, Craft, Build Gaming camps and Robotics programs take the LEGO® experience to a whole new level.

Music Together
Join Ms. Meghan from Music in The Beat Hive this fall for weekly 45 minute family music classes! Over the next 8 weeks in Music Together Mixed-Age Classes, kids ages 0 through 5 and the grownups who love them® will gather for fun-filled family music time. Ms. Meghan will lead you and the other families in singing, dancing and playing with music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course). It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place! One of the goals of Music in The Beat Hive Music Together classes is to help cultivate a joy for music making by encouraging families to continue to play musically outside of class. Continuing the music-making at home helps nurture each child’s musical development. In support of that effort, each family will receive access to music recordings (through an app or CD), an illustrated song book, and a variety of other printed and digital resources, as well as inspiration for engaging with music outside of class. Like parenting, making music doesn’t require any previous experience or expertise, just a willingness to get down on the floor, be silly, and have fun with the music! Our relaxed, no-pressure environment lets all kids learn at their own pace and experience music in a way that works best for them. Mixed-Age classes provide a focus on community so children can learn alongside their siblings, and meet and learn from new friends who may be older or younger than them. Music Together® is an early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age five—and the grownups who love them!® We’re on a mission to make the world a better place by making it more musical™. We do this by providing the highest-quality music and movement classes to families everywhere. Our classes help little ones develop their innate musicality and much, much more. In our research-based classes, children naturally learn how to sing in tune and keep a beat. Active music-making creates unique connections in the brain that support children’s language, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Youth Baseball
HOPEWELL YOUTH ASSOCIATION Welcome to the Hopewell Youth Association, the Volunteer run baseball provider to the City of Milton. HYA has provided youth baseball in this community for over 30 years. We strive to bring families and the community closer together through the great game of baseball. Although we are a baseball organization, our goal is to provide much more to the families and community we serve. Baseball is a game that has brought mothers and fathers and their children to their front yards for a game of catch for over 150 years. During that same time, it brought neighborhoods of kids to the street, park or same front yard for sandlot games. This unique quality of bringing families and communities together is one that we foster and celebrate, while teaching the children valuable life lessons along the way. The end result is great family members, teammates, students, players and people. So grab a glove and take your son or daughter out front for a game of catch. You won't regret it. We will see you at the park soon! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR HOPEWELL BASEBALL Did you know the City of Milton has a Financial Aid Program? For more information click HERE.
